Frequently Asked Questions

At Tuscany Home Inspections, we know you may have questions about the inspection process. Below are answers to some of the most common questions from our clients in Surprise, Arizona and nearby areas.

Answers to Common Questions

Our goal is to make the inspection process simple and stress-free by helping you understand what to expect every step of the way.

  • What is included in a standard home inspection?

A standard home inspection covers all major systems and components of the home, including the roof, foundation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, walls, windows, and more. Our goal is to give you a full understanding of your home’s condition before you buy, sell, or maintain it.

  • How long does an inspection take and when will I get the report?

Most inspections take between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the home’s size and age. You will receive a detailed, easy-to-read report with photos and explanations within 24 hours of the inspection.

  • Can I be present during the inspection?

Absolutely. We encourage clients to attend the inspection. It’s the best time to ask questions, learn about the home’s condition, and see our findings firsthand.

  • What should I do if the inspection reveals problems?

Finding issues doesn’t mean you should walk away from the home. The report simply gives you useful information to make informed decisions. You can use it to request repairs, negotiate with the seller, or plan for future maintenance.

  • Do you offer termite or wood-destroying insect inspections?

Yes. Tuscany Home Inspections provides WDI (Wood-Destroying Insect) reports that identify signs of termite or pest activity. This service is essential in Arizona, where termites can cause serious damage if not addressed early.
